Hello, everybody!
We are member of National Certified Guide Interpreters. Each live in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Hyogo prefecture. We guide foreign visitors basically in Kinki area.
It was January 24th, 2019 we first had a meeting at the Osaka City Central Public Hall in Nakanoshima. The name of our team comes from a word “Miwotsukushi” which is a sign post stands in the mouth of a river. It indicates the boundary between shallows and deep areas in order not to be stranded. It was indispensable thing in olden days in Osaka which is called a city of water. We decided to name our team “Team Mio” so that foreign visitors can enjoy their travel without doubts in Japan.
The number of visitors from abroad increases recently. The government of Japan is taking several measures to meet her goal of 40 million per year. Especially in Kansai region, the needs of sightseeing will increase expecting World Exposition in Osaka held in 2025 and MICE invitation to Osaka bay area.
We, Team Mio members guide foreign visitors to make unforgettable memories in Japan.
