Osaka Castle Osaka Castle is a symbol and city landmark. The castle was built at the end of the 16th century. In 1615 the Summer Siege of Osaka by Tokugawa Ieyasu completely destroyed the castle. The current castle is the third generation building built in 1931. Visitors can go up to the top observation deck where panoramic views of Osaka city is enjoyed. There is a museum inside the castle, the display of miniature Summse Siege Scene is a must to see!

Umeda Sky Building On the top of a two-tower high-rise complex, Floating Garden Observatory welcomes visitors. This building was named one of the world’s 20 great buildings by The Times. At a night of 173 meters, the floating garden observatory offers a 360 degree view of the city.

The Osaka Museum of Housing and Living A museum in a residence “past and present house of Osaka living” opened in 2001. The theme is “history in a residence and culture”. Old traditional Japanese houses in Edo Period are exhibited. “Modern Osaka panoramic sightseeing” is also exhibited.

Dotonbori This is the most famous street in Osaka. Big, flashy signers line the streets of Dotombori. The area began to flourish with the opening of the Dotonbori Canal around 400 years ago. Visitors can enjoy local foods such as “Takoyaki”, “Okonomiyaki”, or “Tecchiri”.
