Hundreds of turtles floating and bathing in the ponds friendly welcome you. You will be surprised to see this peaceful place located on the busy streets. Then you will take the only existing tram line in Kansai region, connecting from Osaka city to Sakai city. The tram runs at a rather slow pace through the local neighborhood. Your next stop is one of Japan’s most renowned shrine called Sumiyoshi Taisha. The shrine is surrounded by sacred trees of near 1000 years old. You will see a beautiful red arched bridge casting its reflection on water’s surface.
And then taking a tram line back to the hustle and bustle of busy downtown. The area is called ‘Shin-sekai’ which means ‘New world’. There are many local food’s restaurants and stands putting up garish and flashy signs on. You will enjoy local food and interacting with local people.
